Arianna Orla was born on 8/14/1997 Cirič (Turin) Italy. She likes: (food) raw vegetables, (sports) alpine skiing, (friends) Filippo, (school) drawing. She doesn't like: nordic skiing and mathematics.
Arianna is unique in the way she approaches to everybody, smiling and opening her heart. She has the touch that makes her be loved by anyone
When It All Started
Having another daughter (8 years old), we tried to keep living as usual, besides the time spent in the hospital, we continued to work, to make sport, to meet people.
When Arianna got sick we would not believe that we could have missed Arianna, so we fight looking for the best surgeon in Europe, best information about treatment (US); we were so busy that we didn't have much time to cry and desperate. She felt our determination and copied powerfully.
We had the fortune to deal with a very good oncology dept. here in Turin. Kids from all over Italy, and from Eastern Europe, come to Torino for cancer diseases. For the liver surgery we went to Brussels where Dr. Otte is well known as one of the best liver surgeon in the world. She didn't need to transplant, so just a resection was necessary.

sorry for being late updating. We are everybody all right, so does Arianna. A little bit tired of the winter, but it's OK. Life is running quietly as usual: school, work, sport. Healthy and happy, busy and active.
Arianna is improving some at school especially in mats where she had main difficulties understanding. She's very tiny and clever and teachers are very satisfied. Tennis and swimming take her busy in the late afternoon when she goes out of school. This is the last year of the primary; next year she's going to move to what we call "intermediate", three years before high school. But there's still a summer between.
Hugs.

Regards.
